Italian Conference on Game Development
/dev/games is committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for participant behavior and the consequences for inappropriate actions. All participants, including sponsors, volunteers, speakers, and staff, are encouraged to contribute to a positive experience for everyone.
Expected Behavior
- Be respectful, collaborative, and considerate of others.
- Avoid discriminatory or harassing behavior and language.
- Report dangerous or inappropriate situations to the organizers.
- Follow instructions from moderators and staff.
- Adhere to all applicable laws.
Unacceptable Behavior
- Intimidating, harassing, abusive, or discriminatory conduct.
- Offensive comments regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.
- Inappropriate use of sexual images or content.
- Intimidation, stalking, harassment, or unwanted contact.
- Obscene or offensive language, gestures, or insults.
- Disturbance of the peace or illegal behavior.
Consequences
- Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.
- Anyone asked to stop must comply immediately.
- Organizers may expel violators of the code without prior notice or refund.
What to do
- If you are a victim or witness to unacceptable behavior, please inform an organizer immediately.
- Reports will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
